11 Feb Flight to Hanoi. 3 hours flight is a little dreading. bought the simcard from the airport for 200k dong. a good bargain for unlimited data. Alex and Bo came to fetch us. Alex is Nhi’s new suitor. Interesting that the matchmaking, Alex and his parents came to visit Bo Me and Nhi. there is good food at home! Nhi cooked chicken pho. solid and nice!
12 Feb today woke up around 7am. went for run. only 6km. didnt really perspire during the run. a little hard to run but still tried. then family cooking plus ironing clothes. supposed to leave home 9am but became left at about 10.30am. if its in my own family in singapore, everybody grumpy liao. went to a nice new temple. dad forgot to bring his gift, and he felt troubled. a little different from our family too. dad usually dont forget things, even if he forget, he will not feel guilty, just had to reroute and go home to get them. in singapore, when we go to temple, its mainly to pray and get out of there. but in vietnam, they dress up to go to the temple to take nice photos. just interesting to note the difference. girls, young or old aunty super love to take photos. insane to me and i just dont understand why, but its something i stopped pondering about, and leave it to the nature of difference. so we went home after the temple to take the gifts. then went to grandpa’s house. it was ok, i dont really understand whats going on. but according to everyone, its abit chaotic. just had to wait and do your own stuffs while the elders quarrel it out. fighting on taking photos, the order and the way they want to do it. tried to talk to the kids. 2 of the younger nieces. are around 15 years old - or in the final year of secondary school. one is studying japanese so she can enter a japanese high school. the main reason is because the japanese high school has chinese classes there where others dont. so she want to join it to learn chinese there. she dont really like the japanese language or country. the guy Sol is going through 4 years of law school. i think he is in year 2, he has 2 more years. youngest nephew just started playing on chess.com. played 2 games, he won 1, i won 1. added him as friend on chess.com. played with tin tin the youngest niece there, easy to please. but dont know why her leg is limping.

You cant wait for things to happen. You cant wait for tomorrow, or next hour to start. You gotta do it NOW! NOW NOW NOW!!!
