Day 29/30: Progress Review and Reflections

3 Focus Points for 2024

  1. Professional Networking and Career Development

    • Achievements:
      • Continued work on Resume and LinkedIn.
      • Application for the incubator submitted.
      • Initiated “Kenston Green.”
  2. Fitness Goals (Running and Swimming)

    • Status: Positive progress. Swimming is improving, next target: 100m nonstop.
  3. Family

    • Status: Not much progress today.

Morning Reflection

  • Training Check: Successful swimming session in the morning.
  • Today’s Focus: Focus on completing and polishing the resume.

Evening Review

  • Accomplishments:

    • Focused on enhancing the resume to the best of my abilities.
  • Challenges:

    • Struggled with distractions, particularly YouTube.
    • Difficulty pushing myself to my optimal level of pain and efficiency.
  • Lessons Learned:

    • The importance of minimizing distractions, such as keeping the phone out of sight during work hours.

  • Adherence to Plan: Managed to stick to about 60% of the planned tasks and goals.
  • Mindset and Focus:
    • Acknowledged a dip in work focus.
    • Emphasized the need for discipline and avoidance of easy paths and distractions.
    • Urged immediate action and focus, avoiding procrastination.

Preparation for Tomorrow

  • Next Day’s Focus:

    • Finalize the resume and apply for jobs, targeting at least 5 applications on MyCareersFuture.
  • Plan Adjustments: No specific changes, but emphasize on maintaining focus and reducing distractions, especially from the phone.

Routine Reminder

  • Evening: Be in bed by 8 pm.
  • Sleep: Aim for sleep by 9:30 pm.
  • Morning: Wake up at 5:30 am, ready to seize the day.

Training Check: Got it in this morning? Yes. Swim done. Swimming seems to be improving. next target is to swim 100m nonstop.

Today's Focus: What is the main goal or focus for today? Resume completion.

Evening Review:

Accomplishments: What did you achieve today? This includes progress in work, exercise, personal projects, etc. Pushed my resume as much as i can.

Challenges: What challenges did you face, and how did you handle them? Still distracted with youtube. not pushing myself to the pain and efficiency level.

Lessons Learned: Any insights or lessons learned from the day’s experiences? hide the fkin phone.

Self-Assessment:

Adherence to Plan: How closely did you follow your planned schedule and goals? as much as i can. i guess 60% at best.

Mind Set and "The Slide": Are you still locked in and focus? No regrets at the end of the year brother. Don't Slide. Sliding in work…

You cant take the easy path. You cannot do the easy small tasks. You cannot be distracted like a normal person. You cannot rest like a normal person. Stay FOCUS! yes sir!!!!

You cant wait for things to happen. You cant wait for tomorrow, or next hour to start. You gotta do it NOW! NOW NOW NOW!!! YES SIR!!
